Energy India 2020

India Vision for Energy Sector is most essential.

You can get broader view on conventional, Renewable energy sector as well as energy efficiency in Energy India 2020

Indian Energy Sector :

It is interesting to read this sentence

The Power Sector is Crucial for fuelling the 10% growth we are aiming at. The capacity addition achieved already in the Eleventh Plan period is much higher than the achievement anytime in the past. However, we have made much less progress in this area than we should have. Power shortages remain a problem in many part of the country. The distribution segment which is entirely in the states sector, continue to be fragile. We are trying to tackle the problem of high T & D losses through a restructured Accelerated Power Development Program and reform program which has just begun to roll out.”
